Arugula

Arugula (lat. Eruca sativa) is an annual herbaceous plant from the cabbage family (Brassicaceae), naturally distributed in the Mediterranean area. It has been grown and used in human nutrition as a leafy vegetable since ancient times.
It is grown for its leaves with a sharp spicy taste, rich in vitamins. It has a stimulating effect on the human body, especially on the digestive organs - stomach and intestines.
Other names under which it can be found in the surrounding countries are: riga (common in the Croatian language), rokula, rugula, rigola and similar localisms, [3] then vrizak, garda, ugly and ludimeno sime.v
